The Ibong Adarna is a mythical bird from a centuries-old Filipino tale. Its feathers shift through seven colors, one for each song it sings, and every song is as dangerous as it is beautiful, lulling whoever listens into a sleep they may never wake from.

The wings hold 228 petals, each cut from a solid block of wood, moving through seven colors from the deep blue at the edges to the orange burning at the center.
